South of Market Child Care

South of Market Child Care, Inc., or SOMACC, is Yerba Buena Garden’s child development center. Founded in 1970, it offers full-time infant and toddler care for children ages three months to three years as well as Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool care for children ages three to five years. Every year, the program serves nearly 130 children at its two child development centers and approximately 500 families at its family support resource center.
